Pauline's career began in Yorkshire England obtaining a Management Degree while working in the catering industry. After working three years in the French Channel Islands, Pauline moved to London to manage restaurants and hotels in the Central Business District.
After emigrating to Australia, Pauline resumed her career in marketing and promotions with the Westfield organisation, before moving to Otford, NSW to take over the Otford Pantry (formerly The Apple Pie Shop) which now not only has a strong local following, has also become world renown with bushwalkers and tourists alike.
In recent years Pauline has been appointed a Director of the Helensburgh Lions Club and Convenor of Wollongong Council's Local Area Meeting, and so brings to the position of President of the Northern Illawarra Chamber of Commerce, first hand local knowledge of this unique area, its resident community and business sector.

Ian is a Chartered Accountant with a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. Ian's career began at one of the large accounting firms and stretched from Sydney to London for almost a decade. Since leaving the accounting profession in 1999, Ian has held numerous executive positions overseas and in Sydney.
Ian is now founder and CEO of Property Penguin, a one stop property and finance service offering around the clock advice and home loans. The NSW Government recognised Property Penguin as an innovative service providing a financial grant to the company in 2006. Ian has also assisted his wife Tanya Pepper recently establish Stanwell Park Physiotherapy.
Ian is also an active participate at Stanwell Park Public School where he regularly attends P&C meetings and assists with fund raising.

Greg Watts

Greg was born and raised in the Northern Illawarra and is a graduate in metallurgy at the University of Wollongong. He commenced his career at the steelworks in Port Kembla before moving to an engineering testing and consulting company in Sydney, working in Business Development and Marketing.
In 1993 he joined a US-base multinational chemical company in an Australasian Sales and Marketing role, followed by transfers internationally to head office in the US and regional office in Shanghai, China. Greg held roles in and gained expertise in product, supply chain and pricing management and marketing both globally and regionally within Asia Pacific.
In 2004, Greg became the licensee of Helensburgh Post Office, quickly learning the skills of small business ownership, and customer service. He brings significant skills in Marketing and process management, and small business operations to the Chamber’s Executive Committee.

Lynda Starkey

Lynda comes from an extensive 22 year Travel Industry background, having owned and operated two travel agencies on the NSW South Coast and managed various corporate and leisure travel centres for QANTAS. In her role as QANTAS Australian Retail Sales Coordinator based in Sydney, Lynda was responsible for the operations, training, customer service, policy and procedures of 20 Travel Centres and their 700 staff.
Since moving to Thirroul 4 years ago and establishing STARK Event Management, Lynda freelances for many profit and non-profit organisations in Sydney and the Illawarra working on a wide variety of event types. Lynda has gained broad range skills in event management, planning, budgeting, sponsorship, operations, marketing and promotions.
Having also served on the Batemans Bay Chamber of Commerce and chaired and participated on corporate and non-profit Joint Management Committees, Lynda brings to the Executive team strengths in management and operations and the strong desire to seek continuous improvement in all she is involved.

Barbara Allen

Barbara moved to Helensburgh in 1965 and in 1979 purchased a home in Stanwell Tops where she resides with her husband Barry to this day. Together they have raised 3 daughters. Barbara started her working life learning clerical skills while employed by the Commonwealth Bank and the Dept. of Youth & Community Affairs (now DOCS). Barbara also had many years experience in the hospitality industry having owned, operated and cooked for restaurants and also owned her own restaurant. Over the years she has worked in many paid and unpaid jobs and was the Girl Guide Brownie Leader for 11 years. Barbara also set up and ran Holy Cross Primary school canteen, which is still successful and running to this day.
She sought a career change and attended Loftus TAFE gaining a diploma in Travel. Now her passion for traveling the Australian continent could be used for the benefit of others. In 1977 Barbara and Barry purchased Piccadilly Travel Service, the oldest travel agency in the Illawarra. Initially the agency was located in Wollongong and then relocated to Helensburgh. Barbara’s clerical expertise and an eye for detail are an asset in organizing people’s travel. She is extremely customer focused and will often go that extra mile for her clients. She is still learning and attends many destination seminars and training, being specialized in many destinations including Tahiti, Bali, Egypt, Hawaii, New Caledonia and of course Australia with a passion for South Australia.

Scott Smith

Scott has qualifications in engineering, art and graphic design, and has accumulated 15 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry working for high profile bands, artists and record companies.
Scott continues to broaden his skills across the print and web mediums and locally, and has developed a comprehensive online and printed directory for the Northern Illawarra called NiO (Northern Illawarra Online).
Scott occupies a unique position in the local business landscape, working closely with both the Northern Illawarra and Corrimal Chambers of Commerce, as part of their executive team, as well as being an active Executive member of Helensburgh Lions Club, Chairman of Helensburgh Scouts and coordinator of the Helensburgh Beautification Project.
