Message from the President
The Northern Illawarra is gearing up for a month of annual festivals, markets, exhibitions and parties, it is a time of year when extra visitors come to take in the beauty, history, local talent, art, and just the pure essence of our stunning part of the world. The Chamber has been busy assisting organisers by the further promotion of these events in the media. See the list full of events at our website Events page.
For those who missed the last General Meeting where our techno-gurus Scott and Quentin demonstrated how emerging technology might be of value to both the NICC and our member businesses, we are inviting all members to join us on Facebook. Details on how to get started are found further in the Chamber Blast.
The Chamber, in partnership with the Department of Environment and Climate Change, has now selected 10 member businesses to take part in the pilot of the new small business Waste Management Program. Over the coming months we will report on the progress of this venture.
A wonderful result for three of our Chamber members, clearly illustrating the benefit of attending our monthly dinner meetings, catching up with fellow members, sharing business ideas and networking, is featured in this month’s Chamber Blast.
