Chairperson, Pauline Smith, welcomed members to the Annual General Meeting for 2007.

Welcome to new member, Michelle Culbert (Effective Business Service), and prospective new members, Allen Atkins (AutoImage Detailing) and Curt Warren (Warren Windsports).

Minutes of Annual General Meeting for 2006 were circulated, reviewed and accepted as a true record of that meeting – moved Lynda Starkey, seconded John Vander; approved.

Executive Committee Report for 2007 read and accepted - moved: Greg Watts; seconded Neil Craddock; approved.

Treasurer’s Report read and accepted – moved Quentin Field, seconded Greg Watts; approved.

Election of Office Bearers.

Chairperson thanked the outgoing Executive for their efforts this past year. Meeting advised that the position of Secretary to be split into two – Secretary and Minute Secretary. Barry Allen chaired the election of new office bearers, through a new process. All positions declared vacant as usual but all nominations for all positions documented and viewed openly by the meeting. Any position to which there was only one accepted nomination was declared filled. Any position to which there was more than one accepted nomination was decided by a vote, with the nominee receiving the most votes being declared the winner. Nominations were made in the usual manner of proposed by one, accepted or rejected by the nominee and, if accepted, the nomination was seconded before being documented. The result of the election was:
President - Pauline Lacelles-Smith.
Vice-President - Neil Craddock.
Membership Officer - Michelle Culbert.
Treasurer - Quentin Field.
Secretary - Greg Watts.
Minute Secretary – Kaylene Prendergast.
Meetings Officer - Barbara Allen.
Media Liaison - Linda Starkey.
Webmaster – Scott Smith.
Election closed, with thanks to Barry Allen as chair.
